All competitors receive useful feedback, a fantastic network, publicity and the chance to win prize money. Venture Cup was founded in 1998 on the initiative of McKinsey & Company in collaboration with Chalmers University, University of Gothenburg and Innovationsbron. Venture Cup is supported by some of Sweden’s major universities and is run in partnership with the private as well as the public sector. Since the start in 1998, more than 17.000 business ideas have been involved in the Venture Cup process.
